ARIA Technologies is an SME organisation which was founded in 1990
with a single-focused specialization: the atmospheric environment, through
numerical simulation of the dispersion of pollutants in the atmosphere. A
comprehensive team of engineers, research scientists and environmental
specialists brings together the knowledge of fluid dynamics, meteorology,
atmospheric chemistry, applied computing, database management and geographic
information systems. ARIA addresses its environmental tasks through complementary
approaches: design and development of computer-based simulation systems;
research studies; consulting services and; installation, training and maintenance.
ARIA Technologies is considered the leader in France for the simulation of air

The Province of Noord-Brabant is situated in the southern part of
The Netherlands, and covers an area of about 5000 km2. The province counts
a bit less than 2.5 million inhabitants, of which by far the most live in
urban areas. The Province deals with those matters of importance which
transcend the borders of individual councils, mainly Municipalities and
Water Boards. It encourages collaboration between councils, represents
the region before central government and controls the distribution of
various government funds. Examples of cross-council responsibilities are
spatial planning, health risks, and environmental quality, for which
already information services are operational. Both the air quality in
the province and the bathing water quality of the lakes incidentally
locally drops below health risk thresholds.
